They open it where you left it.

A Drop is a photo, a video, a voice note or a message left at a real place. It opens when the people it’s for get there.

A staged scene: a phone on a wooden café table beside a coffee, a folded paper map, a plant and sunglasses, showing the Togra map.

4 things around you

The four steps

  1. 1

    Leave something

A photo, a video, a voice note or a few words: whatever you’d have sent anyway. On Togra it’s called a Drop.

  2. 2

    Put it somewhere

Pick the place it belongs to: the bench where you met, your usual café, the corner where the joke started.

  3. 3

    Choose who it’s for

One person, a few friends, your Circle, or anyone who gets there.

  4. 4

    They go there

They can see it’s waiting and roughly where. It opens when they arrive.

Or just say it.

Talk the way you talk, in English, Swahili or both. Togra drafts the Drop from what you said: who it’s for, where it waits, when it opens. You check it, then you leave it.

A draft Drop

Who it’s for, where it waits and when it opens, drafted from what you said.

Who is this for?

Usually you’re choosing a person. Each choice says what it means before you leave anything.

You decide when it opens.

Most things open when the right person gets there, and you can add more conditions.

At the bench

Three example states of the same Drop: far away it says it opens there; nearby it says almost there; once you arrive, it can be opened.

Open this here in ten years.

Some things are for later. Seal a Drop for a date, for when someone comes back, or for the birthday they’re waiting to reach. It waits at the place, and it opens there.

  • On a date
  • When you’re back
  • On their 18th
  • At the reunion

Leave it to the place, and once it has opened it becomes part of that place’s past, for whoever stands there next.

An example capsule: Mum left something for Tasha at the park by the house when she was eight. It stays sealed for ten years and opens there on her eighteenth birthday, then joins the park’s past.

What would you leave, and where?

A Drop is anything that’s better in the place it belongs.

  • Park and Chill

A playlist and a blanket spot at the park, for anyone who wants to come and stay a while.

  • A note for later

Something for your future self, waiting where you were when you wrote it.

  • Same beach, next summer

This year’s photos, left at the beach, opening when you’re all back in June.

  • A birthday hunt

Clues across the city, each stop opening the next, with the cake at the end.

  • A track after the show

A musician leaves a new song outside the venue, only for the people who came.

  • The first hundred coffees

A café leaves an offer at its door for the first hundred people through it.

Opens there

If it opens there, it only opens there.

There’s no “show me anyway”. When someone chooses a place, getting there is part of what they gave you. Not everything needs a place: messages, groups, profiles and your Feed work the way you’d expect, and Togra opens on the map.
