A whole social network. With the world in it.

Friends, messages, a feed, profiles: everything you’d expect. And a map where the things people leave for each other actually live.

Three ways into your world: Map, Feed and Explore

What’s here?

The Map is where Togra opens.

It opens on the world around you: what was left for you first, then what your friends and Circles are doing, then the wider public world. You can look at your city without Togra showing anyone where you are.

  • Things left for you come first
  • Only what you’re allowed to see is on it
  • Your own location stays yours

Post it anywhere. Or leave it somewhere.

Not everything needs a place. A Post is for everyone who follows you, wherever they are. A Drop is for a place, and opens there.

Last night. I still can’t hear properly and I regret nothing.

A DropLeft at a place for you, so it has no public likes or views. Reply, and you’re in a conversation.

And everything else you’d expect.

  • Messages

One-to-one and group chats, photos, voice notes and replies. Private messages are encrypted in transit and at rest.

  • Circles and groups

The people you do things with, in the size you choose, from your closest three to a whole running club.

  • Profiles and friends

Friends, follows and a profile that’s yours. You choose who can find you, and who can leave things for you.

  • Ping

A tap on a friend’s shoulder that points somewhere: we’re at the usual spot, come through. It never shows where anyone is.

Ask the map.

Ask in your own words, in English, Swahili or both at once, and the answer comes back as places. It only answers from what you’re allowed to see, and when it doesn’t know something, it says so.

Through the years.

Stand somewhere and slide back in time. What people left to the place comes back, year by year. From far away you can see it’s there; it opens when you arrive.
