How we think about your location
Togra is built around places, so it has to be careful with yours.
Company update1 min read

People fairly ask what a social network built around real places means for their privacy. Togra shows where things are, never where people are.
What other people see
- Your location is never shown to anyone.
- When you leave something somewhere, people see where the thing is. It stays there after you’ve gone.
- When you open something left for you, the person who left it sees that you opened it, when, and that you were there. Togra tells you before you open it.
- Public Drops never show who opened them. Their owners see counts, later, in round numbers.
What Togra uses it for
To know when you’ve reached something, so it can open. To show you where you are on your own map, when you ask it to. And, only if you turn them on, to tell you when something left for you is nearby.
What we will never do
- Sell your data, or anyone’s location or where they’ve been.
- Let a Ping point at a person.
- Let anyone leave a public Drop at someone’s home.
